Thank you to the more than 500 runners who participated in our 2017 event!

$18,500 raised for STEGH Orthopedics

(Back Row: Dr. Andy Van Houwelingen, Nancy Lawrence, Corinne Roos, Carolyn Johnson, Dr. Anthony Cervinka

Front Row: Craig Jackson, Dawn Ellis, Elaine Knipe, Paul Jenkins)

Based on the post-race survey feedback we received following last year’s race, we made some changes to both the finish line and our awards.  We relocated the finish line to the south side of the CASO Station and the feedback this year was immediate – and overwhelmingly positive. We will make additional changes next year to further improve the finish line experience for our runners.

Our event is a community-driven and supported race that raises money for St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
This is a family-friendly race and our goal is to appeal to runners of all ages and abilities and to raise as much money as we can to support OUR Hospital and we made the decision to eliminate prize money this year so that our local hospital benefitted the most from our event. We had our largest number of runners to date, all of whom benefitted from the great spectator support at the finish line.

Thank you to our event sponsors, including our premiere sponsor Dowler Karn Esso Fuels and our media sponsors Post Media and Corus Radio, our countless volunteers, and our racers for another great year!
