Our route takes you from Warren Street, South on Carlow Rd to George St.  You will continue South on William St. to Lotus Lane which takes you East to the Beach Trail.  The beach trail continues South toward the lake and around the new park by the pier.  Turning North alongside the picturesque pier will take you a short run along the harbour where you will cross the parking lot, turn left on Erie Street and back to William St where you will turn right on George/Bridge St. and head over the bridge!  You turn left at Bridge St./Colborne St (Lights)and you will start climbing out of Port Stanley along Hwy 4.  There are water stations at 3, 6, 9 and 12 km markers on the course until you turn East (Right) on Southdale and join up with the 10 km course. There is a Porta Potty on the NE corner of Southdale and Sunset and a water station at the left turn at the corner of Southdale and Lake Margaret Trail which takes you along a wide side walk to the path beside Lake Margaret - keep any eye out for the Geese!   Lake Margaret will take you to the marked entrance to Pinafore Park's paved hiking trail.   Follow the trail through the park, behind the pavilion and beside Pinafore Lake and along the path to the road out of the park.   Turn west onto Elm Street and after a short distance you will head North back onto the paved recreational trail and pass by the Water station and portable washrrom.   Continue along the paved trail and head East on the trail just past Centre street - you have about 300 meters to go!   The FINISH line will be in sight!!
